Popcorn Sales

Popcorn sales occur in the fall from September through November. Our Scouts sell popcorn through two channels:

• direct sales by going door-to-door or by approaching family. Orders are taken and then delivered at a later date.

• Online sales, where Scouts are provided with a unique website and code that those purchasing enter in order to provide the Scout with credit for the sale. The product is then shipped directly from our vendor, Pecatonica Popcorn.

Scouting receives, on average, about 73% of the purchase price of each sale, split between the Troop and the Blackhawk Area Council. Supporting Scouts through popcorn goes a long way towards providing the Scouting experience.
